Our workshops, like our Water Activities Days, include usage of our boats, leaders and lunch, you just need to book in, pay upfront and turn up on the day.

Joey's Funtime Paddling workshop

Joey's fun time on the water learn to paddle canoe with their parent or leader. 

Joey's can achive their stages of Paddling on this day from the new system and have fun while learning some basic canoe and water safety.

These are half day session workshop - $30.00 per Joey on the water

Morning tea is provide on the day.

We run Canoe Workshop for each stage

The first is designed specifically for Cubs to achieve their Canoe stages

Scouts to achieve their Caneoing stages in the Water Activites Targets for Adventurer level please email and the Canoeing team will make arrangements.

Venturers, Rover, and Leaders we are able to help you obtain canoeing stages in Scout Skills Flat Water Canoeing.. But there is other areas you need to complete to achieve this outside of swash eg e-learning and workbooks.

Costs:

Cub Canoeing workshop (1 day) - $55.00* per person on the water

Minimum of 6 & Maximum of 10 cubs per workshop

Scout Skills Canoe Workshops  (2 days)

Bookings are essential. You will be invoiced for the number of scouting and nonscouting people at the time of the booking through state.

$200 deposit non-refundable payment or full payment to secure the date booked and your spots in the workshop.  Full payment is due 3 weeks before your date of the workshop

Try Sailing Day

Come along & find out if you would like to sail by exploring some basic sailing  under the eyes of our qualified skippers on board a sailboat for scout age 12 and older. Their is no marking off of stage in the outdoors adventure skills badge work done in these session.

Cost - $50.00 eash person PER SESSION. Limited spaces 12 spaces in per session

AFTERNOON SESSION 1PM TO 4.30PM

Scout Skills Sailing Workshop

Sailing workshops are normally held over a total 6 days but this may vary due to weather conditions.

For Scouts these workshops can acheive the Sailing Elective for the Water Activities Target Badge for Pioneer and Explorer Level, and new youth program

For Venturers, Rover, and Leaders we are able to assist you in sailing part to obtain your outcomes. But there is other is other areas you need to complete to achieve this outside of swash eg e-learning..

This will enable you to undertake Group activities.

Costs:

Outdoors adventure Sailing workshop (6 days) - $250.00

Power Boating Workshop
Power Boating Workshop are held over 2 days. For 12-16 year olds to assiting you in obtain getting a Junior Licence. For over 16 year olds assiting you obtain in getting your full licence.

Before you go on this course you must undertake a RMS Boating Safety Course:http://myrta.com/maritime-estore/

Then bring your logbook and we will teach you the practical skills you need to drive a boat and should fulfill the mimimum trips needed.

Costs:
Powerboat Workshop (2 days) - $100 each
